Switzerland and where else?

I am planning to ski in Davos and stay ther for about three nights.
Any suggestions for my trip. I will have 8 more nights in Europe. I have been to most of the major cities already Paris, Munich, London, Rome, Venice. Would like to explore some other places.
Thanks

Stay in Switzerland and visit Bodensee area and Stein am Rhein.

Lisbon! It's a great contrast to Davos.

Barcelona, Madrid, and/or Sevilla. If more skiing is needed, go to the Spanish mountains outside of Granada. This will give you a great suntan this high and so South.

Plus, you'll find Spain much cheaper than Switzerland. If you do decide to stay in Switzerland, take a visit to the central part of this country. From Lucerne you can base this city and ski many great areas each day.

If you're driving: Slovenia - good skiing, at half the price of Switzerland. But getting there is a mountain experience itself, driving can depend on weather, train takes forever, and planes (www.adria.si) from ZRH tend to cost a bunch.

Failing that, if you haven't been yet, Amsterdam beckons - train to Zürich, easyJet to AMS for as little as 30 bucks...

Or fly with budget flighs from ZRH to Budapest, or head south to Brindisi or Catania, you'll almost have the place to yourself. After Davos in the snow, it wil feel like early summer...

Slovenia sounds interesting since we want to go to Budapest on this trip too.

I like bettyk's suggestions of Bodensee (especially Meersburg) and Stein am Rhein, but I've been to both places only in the summer, when they are delightful. I'm not sure how they'd be in the winter.

Maybe someplace warm but beautiful, like Barcelona and/or Sevilla.

Mike, in that case consider going from Davos to Budapest first, there are favorable flights from Zürich (but not to Ljubljana) - see www.skyscanner.net and www.whichbudget.com.

Use www.rail.ch to see about trains to Zürich airport (there is a train station right underneath).

Then google the words Slovenia Ski and pick your spot, get wheels in Budapest and drive, it's ony about five hours, much much easier than driving from Switzerland because you've flown over the top of those pesky alps...

Drive yourself - trains from Budapest to Ljubljana or thereabouts take forever.

Is the sking in Slovenia really good I am just intermediate skier.
Also are the prices much cheaper as you had said? Sorry I am not familiar with that area.
