Swiss train travel from Domodossola to Thun

If we purchase a swiss flexi pass and travel from Domodossola to Brig to Thun, is the flexi pass good for us as passengers on that car train? It makes sense that we must pay extra for the car . Do you know approximately how much it will cost to put the car on the train? Do you sit in your car or sit in the train? Hopefully some of you will be able to share your experiences with me. Thank you!

TTT means to the top which makes your post move to the top so others will see it and comment on it.

I wasn't aware that there are car-carrying services between Domodossola and Thun.

Perhaps there are not...that is what I'm trying to find out. On one of the maps I found an icon of a flat bed train car with an automobile on it. Just trying to figure it all out.Is there a train through the Simplon pass? Maybe the train is from Brig through another tunnel. I did not know about moving one's post up to the top. I also should have tagged the post for Switzerland. Another error. Sorry

That's normally the Lötschberg tunnel between Goppenstein (after Brig - Visp) and Kandersteg only for the car trains. The Flexipass (for the normal passenger trains) is no use for this. You have to pay the car train fee.

http://www.bls.ch/e/autoverlad/goppe...-fahrzeuge.php

Looks like it costs CHF20 Mon-Thu and CHF25 for Fri-Sun for a nomal car under 3,5tons.

thank you kappa. For some reason I expected the car to cost a fortune to put on the train. You've put my mind as ease. That the flexipass is only good for passenger trains makes sense. Thank you for the web site. I appreciate all your helpful information in answering my concerns.
