Is the Train Pass CHF99 worth to buy?

What pass are you referring to as costing 99 Swiss francs - the Half-Fare Card, which is not a pass and currently I believe costs more than 99 CFH?

The Swiss Pass may be a great deal for you - especially the 8-consecutive-day pass even though you will only be there 7 days - anyway check out these fab IMO sites to help you learn about Swiss trains and passes and Half-Fare Cards, Swiss Cards, etc - lots of options - www.ricksteves.com; www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.seat61.com and www.swisstravelsystem.com for lots of great info on scenic trains, etc.
