Swiss Train Help

I need to take the train from Basel to Luzern with a transfer in Olten, no none stops, I guess because it is a Sunday. I am trying to purchase those tickets today, since we are unfamiliar with the Olten station how long should we arrange our transfer time. The best price is a 5 minute connection but since all of us are 60plus I was thinking we should have a connection time of at least 10 minutes. What do you think? Is the station difficult to transfer? How much time should we allow?

This is Switzerland so five minutes will work. You'll see on the SBB app which platform you'll arrive on and which platform the next train departs from. You might even get lucky and just have to walk to the other side of the platform for the connecting train. That's what happened to me a few weeks ago.

You'll be fine. Just don't dawdle.

Thanks for help. I scheduled 11 minutes for the transfer. I’m hoping the tracks are close!
