I first learned about Gimmelwald from Rick Steves book "2 to 22 Days in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland " in 1993. Rick had sleeping at the Hotel Mittaghorn in Gimmalwald on Days 13 and 14 of his 22 day itinerary.

Regardig Jane's itinerary - I fear it is very "over-planned". Not a moment is free. When visiting new places it is fine to get lots of information but if you cram so many things into each day you leave yourself no "wriggle room" to discover unexpected things. And that is a shame.

1. Would like to spend some time in Murren coming down, what to do in Murren? Is there a funicular in Murren?
Mürren Allmendhubel - standseilbahnen.ch - Standseilbahn - Katalog See trip advisor for reviews (Allmendhubel)
2. Would like to spend some time in Lauterbrunnen, like walking from Stechleberg to Lauterbrunnen, walk through Lauterbrunnen, how long does it take?
Hiking time: 1h45
Difficulty: easy
Elevation: 800 - 925 m
Distance: 6.7 km
Terrain: meadow, valley
3. Could consider Trummelbach falls, not sure of time. Priority is more to mountain views and villages. It seems walking from Stechelberg to Trummelbach falls is very scenic, is it worth doing? Between Lauterbrunnen village and Tummelbach fall, which to choose?
It is a very nice walk on the valley floor. Tummelbach Falls over the village.
When will be the last bus from Trummelbach to Lauterbrunnen?
The complete schedule is on the timetable I referenced yesterday. The bus route is Stechelberg-Tummelbach Falls-Lauterbrunnen every half hour until (19:12-19:17-19:25) then hourly until midnight.
4. When will be the last cable car coming down? Where to find each cable car’s timetable? And last bus back from Stechelberg to Lauterbrunnen?
The complete schedule is on the timetable I referenced yesterday Very late in sync with the bus.
5. When you said don’t need to come down to Gimmelwald or Wengen when changing cable car, do you mean, you can just take next cable car right on the same spot?
Not exactly clear what you are asking. The four sections are Shilthorn to Brig, Brig to Murren, Murren to Gimmelwald, Gimmelwald to Stechelberg.
Analogous to a department store with up/down escalators between floors.
6. Where to have a quick lunch?
Where ever you are when you feel like eating lunch there will be a place to eat. Better outside.

For some reason Rick Steves loves Gimmelwald and has hyped it so much that it is full of Americans who must be wondering why they are there when they get there! Mürren is so much nicer...

I believe it will be a great trip no matter what, because we are going to Switzerland, such a beautiful country.

To be clear - the Trümmelbach falls are underground. You cannot see them from the village. What you can see from Lauterbrunnen and many other places around it (from the train up to Wengen for example) are the Staubbach falls. For the Trümmelbach - you have to pay an entry fee. There are a lot of steps which are very wet. Be careful of your footing if you go. Allow at least 30mns there. Stechelberg to the Trümmelbach Falls is 30mns flat/slightly downhill walk. Falls to Lauterbrunnen is just over 30mins walk, also easy and slightly downhill. You get a great view of the Staubbach falls as you walk by. Bus runs every 30mins for most of the day.

Our walking speed between two of us would be average 1.5 hour, I guess. If also stopping over at the Trummelbach fall will be additional half to one hour, Trummelbach fall is between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen, so if we were to go to Trummelbachfalle we probably wouldn't have time to walk through Lauterbrunnen, it will all depend how the day's activity goes, and the time left. But worth going to that area.
Thank you for the info.

Last cable car down from the Schilthorn (the summit) us around 1800. Last one down from Mürren to Stechelberg is about 2300. You can get the precise information here:
https://schilthorn.ch/cmsfiles/fahrplan_2019.pdf
There is a "+" sign to enlarge it. And remember, as with ALL timetables here we use the 24hr clock.

Thank you for your response and information @dugi_otok, Hambaghle, regarding to Trümmelbach Falls and timetable of Schiltrhorn train trip.
Trummelbach is another engineering marvel, it's definitely worth seeing. But with our limited time, we'd probably skip this. We could enjoyed more doing hiking outside at mountains. Can we add another hike or some other activity around Murren or somewhere in stead, to fufill this day?
Our route will be Grindelwald - Lauterbrunnen - Grutschalp - Murren - Schiltrhorn (stop over- 1 hour ) - Birg (stop over - 1 hour ) - Murren (stop over 1 hour ) - Gimmelwald - Stechelberg (walk or take bus) - Lauterbrunnen (stop over, walking though Lauterbrunnen 1.5 -2 hour )
Thank you for your help.

well engineered by nature not man I think. Said to be the sole main drain of the Jungfrau Massif - it really only takes a few minutes - not much to see except the thundering cascade inside the rocks.

If you want to stay in the mountains for walking/hiking near Mürren after visiting Schilhorn consider this itinerary.
Take BOB leaving Grindelwald 7:49, arriving Lauterbrunnen 8:19. If this is too early take the next BOB leaving Grindelwald 8:25 arriving Lauterbrunnen 8:55.
Take Yellow postal Bus(PTT) from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg cable car station- 10 to 15 min up the valley
Take the cable cars Stechelberg-Gimmelwald-Birg. Get off here and do your thrill Ride.
Take the cable car from Birg-Schilthorn.
Spend about 1 hour at the top. Time elapsed since leaving Grindelwald is about 3-1/4 hours.
Take the cable car down to Mürren. Depending on the time take a stroll around the village and then lunch or lunch followed by a stroll around the village.
For the afternoon walk/hike I offer two options. Easy and Medium.
For the medium walk I would take the funicular from Mürren to Allmendhubel. Then walk the Mountain View Trail to Grütschalp. (1-1/2 hrs.)
For the easy walk I would walk the trail that parallels the train Mürren to Grütschalp. (1-1/2 hrs)
For the final descent take the cable car Grütschalp to Lauterbrunnen.
No rush to get back to Grindelwald. Stroll the Lauterbrunnen village and/or rent an e-bike and ride up the valley in the direction of Stechelberg.
