Swimming in Sicily in late Sept?

As I plan our 10 days in Sicily (4 nights in the Aeolian Islands)I'm wondering if it will still be warm enough to swim Sept 23-28? Grazie Molto!

Depends on what's warm enough to you. To me, I think it would be, and I'm not exactly a hardcore cold water swimmer. So yes, pack your swimming gear.
I've been to Sicily in mid-October and we couldn't wait to hop into the water, it was lovely - but there was hardly anyone else swimming except those "pazzi Tedeschi".

It certainly should be. The latest I've been is early September & that was fine; but I've also swum in the Aeolian islands in late April - September should be much warmer than late April as the sea has had all summer to warm up.

Thank you so much for this info-- It's always best to hear from those who know!!

Yes. I've been there in late September. Weather was warm and water was wonderful.
