Is there a reasonably priced, clean hotel in Stockholm? Also, any recommendations for Dalarna? Thank you.

I would suggest the Lady Hamilton Hotel in Gamla Stan. www.lady-hamilton.se The location is great, you can walk everywhere from there. Dalarna is a beautiful area, be sure to visit Carl Larsson's home in Sundborn near Falun. You can watch the wooden Dala horses being made in Nusnas. The towns of Leksand, Tallberg, Orsa, Mora, and Rattvik around Lake Siljan have lots of small, reasonably priced places to stay. There are also cabins to rent near the lake. See www.siljan.se and www.dalarna.se for more info. Enjoy your trip.

I guess that you'll miss the midsummer festivals. Mora is magic at this time.

I just booked the Adlon Hotel for July. It's #3 on Trip Advisor and through Hotels.com (via the Trip Advisor site) I got it for $84 a night including taxes. Apparently Stockholm has lots of business hotels that are empty in the summer so prices drop. The hotel's own website has prices of twice that for weekdays during the non summer months.
