Swansea, Wales B&B????
 

Hey, hello to all!!!

All plans for our upcoming trip, Oct 2004, to Wales and Cornwall have been finalized...dates...rentals...plane. We have decided to take the train from London to Swansea, Wales, where we will rent a car (Hertz) to drive to our rental, which is near New Quay in mid Wales. BUT, we will have one night to stay in Swansea before checking into the rental. We are looking for a comfortable B&B in the Swansea area and I'm hoping to get some personnal recommendations, since I am unfamiliar with this part of Wales.

Ginny, when we go to Swansea to visit our son who is a university there, we always stay at the Holiday Inn Express. It's handy for the motorway, inexpensive, and has everything you need for B&B. Just google . You can book online. Travel Inn, nearby, is also very good.

Ginny, when I was in Swansea in 2002, I stayed at a small B&B called The White House. It was very comfortable and clean. The guy who ran it was named Mike Jones, I think. Anyway, here is the link to his website. smoothhound.co.uk/hotels/whitehousehotel.html
