Christina, what happened to the people who used to dance every Sunday in front of the church at the foot of r. Mouffetard? They were there as recently as this past spring.

That is what she said--it is at a church, not the market, per se.
I haven't ever seen music at markets--as said, they are really for real people shopping for real food!! LOL

I will say that one of the most entertaining things I've seen in Paris was at the pl. MOnge market when a dog grabbed a chicken off of the rotisserie!! It was hilarious (to all but the owner) who stood over it (after trying to get it away) looking skyward as the dog ate it at her feet!! EVERYONE loves the rotisserie chix!! LOL
I don't think it is a repeat show.

Gretchen, I didn't say it was at a market. And it's nothing to do with the church, except that it's out in front of it at the foot of the street.

For years and years (literally) there has been a local couple who plays music and dances in front of St. Medard's church after late mass lets out. They invite onlookers to join them, which they often do. It draws a crowd every Sunday.

Isn't this just saying the same thing? The market quote was from another post.
