Sunday Brunch

A while back I heard of Sunday Brunch on Camden Lock. Has anyone heard of this? Thanks.

What/where is Camden Lock? New Jersey?

Sunday brunch anywhere is very much not my thing. But there's a list of restaurants along the Regent's Canal at the following website.

They'll all be serving something round lunchtime, and you might find the experience less hectic a few hundred yards away from the lock itself . Remove the line breaks I've inserted into the URL to stop this page becoming illegible.

It's in London.

Haven't heard of this (and not sure exactly where in Camden Lock you mean). But I know you used to be able to take a Sunday lunch cruise on a canal boat from Little Venice to Camden Lock and back.

“Camden Lock” isn’t the name of a restaurant but of a location – ie the canal lock in Camden Town.

Camden Market is London’s biggest tourist attraction/tourist trap (delete to taste). On Sunday mornings it gets unbelievably busy.

There will be any number of cafes, bars, food stalls etc selling food, but there is nowhere that I am aware of that specialises in “brunch” (which isn’t something we Brits do much anyway).

In short if you want “brunch” but don’t want the crowds – avoid Camden on a Sunday.

I don't know why you'd want to go to Camden Lock. Really I don't. What attracts you?

There are a few good places in Kensington for this pre-lunch, post-breakfast meal. Also some in Mayfair too, but less so on a Sunday. There's a place in Kensington with Sally in the name..it always get superb reviews.

Camden's ghastly, and full of what would appear to be a mixture of drug addicts, tramps, and wannabe junkies. It's not a rough, rough area, just full of these undesirables who have never seen a suit, a comb, or a shower in their lives.

I think I'm in shock.

I agree completely with M Kingdom.

I'm going for a lie down.

P.s the restaurant he's talking about is Sally Clarkes in Kensington Church St (I've never been biut it gets good reviews)
