SK2005,
Can you describe the Katikies Suite? This was an option for us for our honeymoon this July, but we booked the Honeymoon Suite instead (#24). I'm just curious about the difference between the two, and where in the hotel the Katikies Suite is located. Is it very private? Any information would be appreciated!

Good news! They put you in the Katikies Suite. Same room we had!! It is awesome and HUGE. VERY private. You have a private entrance to your room off of the pool. It is the nicest suite in the place.

I don't think they have too many people reserve the Katikies Suite, so they use it as a honeymoon suite as well. There are 2 other honeymoon suites there that I was glad I wasn't staying in. They were not in the best location. If you read the description of the Katikies suite on their website...it will give you a little more info on the room.

Also, I took a lot of pictures of the room and Katikies. Email if you would like to see them - [email protected]

Let me know if you have specific questions.

My husband and I stayed at Astra apartments on our honeymoon last July. We absolutley loved it. I don't think you could have a more picture perfect setting and the sunsets from the pool are absolutely the best. The walk to Fira wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed being away from all the fuss in town but also being able to go there for dinner. The staff at Astra was extremely helpful. They arranged our dinner reservations, a sunset tour on a sail boat and also arranged for us to rent a car for the day. We arrived by ferry and someone was there to pick us up and take us to the hotel. Wonderful! We definitely plan to go back for one of our anniversaries.
