Summer French classes for kids

I am planning to take my twin boys to France for a month. I want them to learn French and have fun. Do you recommend any place where they can go?

Thanks

Juan

How old are the boys? Do they have any French at all?

What month will you be going to France?

Ar you looking for intense full-time classes (needed to learn much in a month) or a combo learning/travel activities program?

Are they currently attending any France Language classes? Unless they have some basis (culture), it will be difficult to get them into anything serious for a month in the summer.

There are several summer camps. Lots of kids I know do this (I live in Belgium). Crealangues in Provence is popular.
There are also camps that combine sports and french; surf camps near Biaritz, for example.

This one in Antibes; http://www.cia-france.com/ is also good. They can stay there, stay with a family, or just take daily classes where they stay with you and follow classes during the day. Obviously they will learn more if they stay with a French family.

There were two recent posts on Fodors about this.

That's mainly what I've heard about, also (the camps). But it isn't clear what this trip is about or where it will be. No point in people recommending schools in Antibes if you are going to be in Paris for a month. I hope the point isn't just to spend a month in France anywhere so these kids can learn French. And if one is going to be travelling around, also, you can't be going to school.

And as someone said, the time period is really important also as some of these schools are only in summer. There are schools other than camps for children, though.

ILF has classes for children in Paris, for example http://www.ilf-paris.fr/Pages/02_Cou...%20enfants.htm

So does ACCORD http://www.paris-junior.com/Fr/Campus_ete/cours_ete.php

I mainly know schools in Paris.

Coeur de France in Sancerre has some children's programs.

Thanks for your comment Tulips, our programs are still very popular in Cannes, and Antibes. We do work as well with our sister schools in Nice, Biarritz and Paris. For more info go to our web page http://www.cia-france.com/french-kids-teenage-courses/

Same as above. As a kid I learnt much more doing activities I foreign language than in school with a lot if friends from my neighborhood.
But it means at least basic understanding.
