Debating if I can do better.

If you look in sidestep.com from 6/16 to 6/30 it totals to $927 from United and SAS Airlines with one stopover each way. I always use this site cause it gives you options to search 3 days before or after departure and arrival dates.

We are flying out of Chicago at the end of July on Aerlingus to Paris (with a 3 day stopover in Dublin on the way back) for about $950. You will have to transfer in Dublin but they will ticket you all the way through from Chicago to Paris so you do not have to claim luggage in Dublin. We wanted to stop in Dublin so that is why we went Aerlingus. Sometimes I just like to do the non-stop even if it costs a little more.

Thanks for correcting the 800 site. I bought my tickets to Paris from Dulles for May and got them for $732. My friend Louisa got them for about $30 less because she's flying home a day later than me.

I've decided I can't wait until summer, I'm going during my spring break instead!

I got a fare of $830 non-stop both ways and I can live with that.

With 1800flyeurope, when can you choose your seats? Can you see your itinerary online at xxx airline website? (ex. I think I see an itinerary that mirrors Delta flight).

Last month I booked a ticket to Munich for Memorial Day weekend. Fare: $1033. Today I checked and the fare is now $637.90. Called United and received a voucher for $395.10.

I've booked many flights with 1800flyeurope (and saved a bundle), but I always phone. You can select your seats when you book, so you may want to have the seat configuration handy (see www.seatguru.com). They will also tell you the airline.

When you book by phone (and they are very nice and efficient), you are sent an e-mail and 24 hours to think it over (and double check details).

Once you're booked, you do receive an airline confirmation number and you can see your booking on the airline's website.
