Summer 2009 Openjaw for $900 LAX-MAD-LON-LAX- good price?
I was going to leave for Europe in sping but can't go until the summer now so I find myself stalking prices again. I am exhausted and found an open jaw ticket from LAX to Madrid and returning to LAX from London for $900 leaving in June and returning in July.
Is this a good price. This whole trip was last minute and so I have not really been following ticket prices. Thank you.

Tickets are down considerably, and I've been seeing some round-trips to Europe from JFK for under $600 in the summer, which is amazing. I think this is a good price, but it's impossible to know if you could do better. There may be more sales if flights don't book up for the summer. What airline is this on?
You should definitely price Iberia/American for this itinerary if this isn't on those airlinse.

Thank you. I think I am going to accept that this is a good price but that better may come and just buy it. My fare checking is getting a bit too obsessive compusive for me.
Hopefully it will still be there. The flight is on BA. I have checked twice in an hour and it's been different each time. I will also check AA/Iberian. Thank you for your thoughtful response.

I found an exceptionally cheap ticket on this website recommended by IRA here this winter.

I am so psyched that I saw this before I bought. There is a cheaper price on the website you suggested. Thank you all very much. THis is the greatest tool in planning a trip (the message boards even more so than the actual site itself!)...

Thanks, Ira! I bought my ticket for $850 on flycheapabroad and am now going to restrain myself from searching anymore. Not sure what I will do with the extra 16 hours a day. Just kidding.
