Suggestions regarding Tallinn

I am thinking about flying from Copenhagen to Tallinn in June, spending one night and one day there, and then taking the Tallink to Stockholm. Any ideas?? Also, how reliable is Estonian Air?

All airlines seem to be more or less late nowadays. But that is usually for some other reason than the airline itself.

Estonian Air is just as reliable as any other European airline. Just normal.

We had a flight with Estonian Air from Tallin to Oslo a year ago. It was a code share with SAS. There were no advance seat assignments but they gave us seats together on the plane. Very limited carry on allowance so we checked our carry on bags. With no bags to carry on the flight everyone boarded very quickly and we were on time and the luggage was waiting on the belt when we arrived in Oslo. Very efficient with free beer on the plane served with lunch (not a great lunch) but more than we typically receive in the US. I would certainly fly with them again.

We basically did the reverse of your trip. Tallin was great. We were also there for just one night. It is a wonderful town for walking around. Climb to the top of the tower in the main square, walk to the upper town lookouts, check out the Russian Orthodox Church and spend some time at a sidewalk cafe for a few drinks. The restaurants are good and inexpensive. We stayed in the old town and were really glad that we did for such a short trip.

My husband flew Estonian Air 2 years ago and was very happy. We will fly with them from Tallin to London in late June - good fares.

I think that when you get to Stockholm you'll wish you had stayed more than one night in Tallinn. Also, isn't it is more logical to go the other way, Kobenhavn>Stockholm>Tallinn?

I thought about going Copenhagen to Stockholm and then Tallinn but that would be two 15-hour nights on a boat rather than just one. Plus, I want to avoid Tallinn on the weekend because we're not party animals and want to avoid that scene. What do you think? I am only in Scandinavia for eleven days.

Sorry, what does "ml" mean?

There's a "party scene" on the weekends? I'm going to be there later this year; can you tell me more about it?

Apparently the cheap alcohol lures a lot of British stag and hen parties.
