Suggestions, Please
 

Wife and I will be in Rome from April 9 and would like to revisit Tuscany, Amalfi, and travel to the Italian Lake district. We have to be in London by April 23. Thought about train from Rome to Florence and drive to Como, then train to London.

Any suggestions concerning routes, spas, and places to visit will be most welcome.

My suggestion is that you re-post your question with a message header that actually TELLS something about the information you are seeking. Aren't most people here looking for suggestions, or help or information? It's becoming increasingly annoying and all the more frequent, it seems, for messages to bear these "you-must-stop-and-look-at-my-posting" headers.

Try again with something like "Seeking advice on a two-week Italian itinerary in April, with onward travel to London".

And lest this seems like all lecture, and no helpful information to you - - I would recommend FLYing, not train travel, from Northern Italy to London. www.ryanair.com for example from ("Milan") Orio al Serio in Bergamo to London (Stansted) for a song.
