SUGGESTIONS-HOTEL FAMILY OF FOUR
Any suggestions on lodging for a family of four. I seem to be having a hard time finding hotels, etc. that will accomadate all four of us. We really dont want to spend the money on two rooms. Is this going to be difficult to find. We are traveling to So Germany, black forest, Munich, No. Italy the first two weeks of August. Also is it recommend to make advance reservations, or will we be able to wing it?

Am having the same problem and do not wish to rent two rooms. What did you do? I need hotels in Munich, Venice, London, & Florence. |
Hi
I am planning to visit Italy with my famyly (4 people ) at July 1997. I was in Italy at 1988. I found out that the best way to stay there is in Holiday Inn hotels they have big rooms and some of them include breakfast. The main point to look for small B&B or family hotels near the cities, for example in Mestre near Venice . Pini |
Hey, can't believe it- we'll be in Italy and Germany in the first two weeks of August also- We have reservations with Holiday Inn 1-800- HOLIDAY--Ask for "Europe for Less" They guarantee all rooms in Holland for no more than $129 and Germany, Italy for no more than $99 although I was quoted $88. That is for 2 double beds. They have non-smoking too!--My other quest (see todays postings) is to find out more about motorhoming throughout Europe. Have phone numbers for companies in Netherlands and Germany. l6' is $90 a nite/19' is $l40 nite. Includes bedding, dishes etc. Holland has over 500 campgrounds-most on a first come/first serve basis. I'll keep you posted if you are interested. I read that Europeans with families find it much cheaper. We used to own a motorhome (Calif.) and found that is was always rented by Europeans even though here the cost is higher than our hotels. Maybe we'll see you in Germany. Can't wait to see the "Black Forest". Tricia
