Suggestions for these Italy hotels
 

Hi! I'm travelling to Italy in mid-December and booked hotels for our stay.
I was wondering if any of you fellow travellers have been to these hotels, and what comments or suggestions you have for us. We will do most of our travelling by train, so we tried to arrange for hotels that are esaily accessible by public transportation.

Venice - Hotel Canal & Walter

Florence - Hotel Ariston

Rome - Hotel Alessandrino

Anyone been to any of these or have comments?

My client hated Canal& Walter and changed hotels after one nite. In Venice, you do not want to be near the station--the vaporetto is cheap---get closer to the best sights.

Other than location, do you know what your client didn't like about it?

Did you look on tripadvisor.com? There's 8 reviews on the Venice hotel alone.

Yes ! Forget the train stations.
