Suggestions for day trips from Brussels
 

I need some help with my trip in Dec. Im going over Christmas and New Years. Any suggestions for day trips from Brussels?

Paris - only 1 1/2 hrs away

What about Luxembourg? Any suggestions on what to do for New Years Eve? Where to celebrate?

I think that Brugges and Gent are very charming. I also took a train to Amsterdam but spent two nights there (not a day trip).
