Suggestions for a nice lunch stop between Rome and Naples?

We'll be driving from Rome to Ravello, looking for a nice lunch stop between Rome and Naples.

Caserta seems obvious, but we really won't want to take the time to see the Palace.

I was wondering if there was a nice smaller town/village along the way, ideally with a restaurant with outside seating. Just to stretch our legs and have a nice lunch, maybe spend an hour walking around.

We'll be driving the A1/E45, not the coastal route.

We stayed for a night in Cassino to visit the Abbey. You may not want to take the time to visit but the stop might fit your needs. Several restaurants there but I have no recommendations. Montecassino was magnificent especially considering it's place in WWII history.
