Suggest a Paris apartment w/AC for vacation rental?

Can anyone suggest a specific company/apartment rental for a family of five hoping to stay in Paris (6th or 7th) that comes WITH AIR CONDITIONING? Not many of the listings through vrbo, parisperfect, rentparis, vacationinparis have A/C and I think that will be important since we will be traveling in July. Thanks!

Hi

How long for? What's your nightly/weekly budget in EUROS? So that's a two bedroom apartment with A/C?

Cheers

If you are willing to go into the 4th, it looks like they have the beginning of July open right now. I've stayed in it and was great. It's owned by an American couple and has a few extra American touches (big fluffy towels, etc.) They also have the best book in the apt listing all their favorite places to eat, drink, and shop in the neighborhood.

HI Sanctomama. I too was concerned about lack of ac when stayed in Paris last July. We stayed in one of the "parisperfect" flats (Chardonnay). However, it was never hot in the apartment, despite temps outside in the 80s. Thick walls in those old buildings seemed to do the trick to keep it cool inside, even without airconditioning.

PS Sorry, meant Sacto (not sancto)mama. Must have been thinking of the churches in Paris (-:
Are you from Sacramento?
Happy New Year, and good luck with your trip-planning to beautiful , wonderful, Paris!

I really wouldn't dismiss many of the availbale apartment rentals in Paris just because of the lack of A/C. It's not very common to see A/C north of the Med in Europe as it is just not a big deal.

Thanks to all for your replies! Calinurse, yes I am from Sacramento. Worldinabag, it would be for a week to 10 days, nightly budget around $450 US for an apartment in a good location WITH A/C that sleeps five.. I've come across two possibilities, one in the 4th and one in the 5th. What can I expect from the different areas?

Try www.parisvacationapartments.com. We rented near the Louvre with A/C. They were easy to deal with and a first class company. You have to rent 8-12 months in advance.
