studio or 1 bedroom apt.

I am not having a lot of luck finding a studio or 1 bedroom apartment for rent for 4 days Sept. 10-14 in the Cotswolds. I am willing to stay in Longborough or Northleach. It appears as those towns have more
openings than popular, tourist towns like Stow on the Wold and Bourton on Water. We have a rental car so driving is fine but would like to be centrally located. We just need a basic, clean place to crash at in the evening. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you checked Airbnb? I found a great place in the Cotswolds for a week on my last trip and have no doubt there will be one for you as well.

Refine the search at top (number of guests, "entire home", dates). There are a number as you describe.

These are two long established/well run agencies with lots of Cotswolds properties

Thank you both for the information. I know it will be helpful. I am impressed with the kindness of the British people!

I found a studio apartment in Northleach, very small but that is fine. It is called The Bolt Hole. Does Northleach have easy access to the other villages?
I saw a forum that said Buford is a nice and quiet place, not so busy.
Thank you.

Is it the place tripadvisor calls a one bedroom bungalow? I googled for The Bolt Hole Northleach and didn't find a studio. Just curious to see what you found if you'll share.

>>I saw a forum that said Buford is a nice and quiet place, not so busy.<<

Burford is very nice - one of my favorite towns in the Cotswolds. But it is not a quiet, 'not so busy' back water. It is a busy little town

I think that property used to be handled by one of the agencies I linked (since I've seen it and never actually searched for a place in Northleach, so I must have run across it when I used to receive there hard copy catalogs)

It is small but definitely not a studio.

Yes, you are correct it is a 1 bedroom and not a studio.

I purchased a City Navigator SD card (UK & Ireland) for our England trip, to be used in my Garmin GPS. I plan to program some of the motel addresses before we depart and wonder what part of the address I must include.
For example:
4/5 Avondale Road
Seaford, East Sussex
BN25 1RJ

This forum has been a great help, thank you.

Just enter the post code - in your example that would be the 'BN25 1RJ' bit.

BUT -- do not depend entirely on your GPS/SatNav. Get a road atlas (very inexpensive at any garage or news agent). GPS have been known to send unwary drivers down the primrose path - so to speak.

Yes, good advice, will buy a road atlas too. Thanks Janis
