Studio Flat/Apartment London

I'll try a more general question. Can anyone recommend a studio flat/apartment in London for about $150/nt for several nights?

1 BR okay too.

B&Bs would be second choice.

Mayfair to Piccadilly but other locations considered too.

Thanks for the links Ozzy, have reviewed. Was wondering if anyone here has actually stayed in a nice place.

Thanks for the help.

I stayed at the Nell Gwynne apts (they have a website) in a studio in Chelsea/So.Ken area on Sloane Ave. and thought the price and location was good. They have a concierge service and altho' the studio was certainly not luxurious it was adequate and I did check out one bedrooms which were nicer. If you'd like more comments on this e-mail me at [email protected].

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for writing back. Seems like there's not much on fodor.com about flats/apts in London so maybe other people might be interested in your thoughts too.

My questions would be, was it recently renovated when you stayed there? How long ago did you stay? Clean? Close to a tube stop?

Would you care to share the cost?

Looked at a website, not sure if it is the correct one. Looks like apts. for sale.

Thanks for your help!

There's actually a lot of London apt info on this board. It may be that the places mentioned most often are for larger, family size accomodation though.

Here's a website that was recently posted by someone who raved about a 2 bed/2bath apt for 115GBP. You might see if they have smaller places. The poster's apt was on Draycott Place 2 blocks from Sloane Square tube.

www.theapartments.co.uk

Here are some other apt webites

Oxbridge apts http://www.oxrg.demon.co.uk/

www.apartment-hotels.com
for Emperors Gate Short Stay apts

http://chslondon.com/vr/index.htm

Finally, when I was recently searching for hotel options in London, I noticed one of the discount websites I tried-I think it was wotif.com had some specials of 3 nights for the price of 2 if that would help you.

Some other sites I looked at were lastminute.com, laterooms.com, londonnights.com

Just a little advice... stay away from Yourstay.com when renting your flat.

Have a great trip!
