STUDIO APARTMENT IN MARAIS DISTRICT, PARIS

Hello everyone:

After spending a great deal of time researching for place to stay in Paris, I have finally found one particular area that I like and I can afford. It is located in Marais District. This studio is fully furnished and close to metro and other attractions. I find its rate to be better compare to hotels in the same area. The best part of it all - there is no booking fee, although deposit is required to hold the reservation upon my arrival, which is fine. Anyway before booking this apartment, I need your thoughts regarding its location. This is my first time in Paris so I really have no clue exactly where this place is located. Are there anything else I should ask before finalizing my reservation? BTW -here is the link of the apartment to give you an idea.
www.an-apartment-in-paris.com

Any information that you could provide is greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance

Thea

Great location! One of my favorite areas to stay in Paris. Lots of places to eat, drink, shop, and it is central for exploring much of the city center. The metro is great. I see no problem with the location. The price looks wonderful also. If you do stay there, please let us know how it went.

Have fun!

Thea, I also spent a great deal of time researching which area to stay in. I do not know Paris and I wanted to make sure I was staying in a good area. I'm also staying in Marais and I think we have both made a good decision.

I'm looking forward to my visit and to the Marais area.

Good luck with yoru planning. And I hope you have a great trip.

It's a favorite location for us -- easy to walk many places, good restaurants and bars abound. You'll enjoy it.

It would be nice if you could find someone who has stayed there to vouch for it...check TripAdvisor and ask for some references before you send off a deposit.

Thank you ALL for your quick response! Now that I have my transatlantic flights in place and found an apartment to stay, I am getting even more excited. I will definitely report back to you ALL and share my adventure in great details.

@ Uhoh_busted - This apartment is recommended by "Lonely Planet," so with its price and location plus all of your great recommendation, how could I go wrong. I will definetely ask for additional references just to be on a safe side.

@ Kodi - when are you planning being there? My trip is not until November so if you go there before my departure, please let us know about your trip as well.

If you want to know exactly where it is located, you could get a Paris map and see. Since you appear to be definitely going anyway, it's not a bad investment. You can get a Streetwise Paris map for about $7 on Amazon or in bookstores (in the US, anyway).

Thea I'm going in June. I'll report back, and I'm quite sure I'll be telling you how much I loved the area! Immimi, thanks for the information on seeing the address.
