Student needs advice on Greece

The winds are biting sharp up North and I am already dreaming of Spring Break. I am so over the Florida thing, I was thinking Greece. Getting the sisters together and all flying down for a week. Anyone knows of an inexpensive hotel and not to mention I guess I should start looking at airfares. It?s like a mass exodus here in February. Sites to search flights would be cool too. I am a novice at travel still ; )
TIA

It's going to be cold in Greece in Feb. also. It would probably only be in the 50s. It isn't warm enough to swim until June.

Your best bet for warm weather during spring break is the caribbean.

If you got used the cold weather, then I suggest to visit Karpenisi, Arahova, Pilio. All places are close to ski-resorts, and they are wonderful. Regarding the flights, you could go to London and then fly with easyjet (www.easyjet.co.uk) you can go to Greece with only 30 or 40 euros (if you reserve your flight a little bit earlier). On the other hand, if you want to go directly from States, then check the link http://www.olympic-airways.gr/
However, whatever you do, if you come to Greece, then send me an email and I'll be glad to go for a coffee with you and show you the places arround.

Yeah I guess that?s why flights seem so inexpensive, only $350 rt, that?s with a student discount, well nix that idea? definitely want to show some skin after wearing 10lbs of clothes everyday. I think I am going to head to the Carribean then, at least the temperature is friendly there. If I can find 12 friends to go I can get an excellent group rate at stundentuniverse.com. My friend just im?d me the site. She is desperate to go somewhere but has no interest in reading the fine print. sigh/ I can pull an all nighter on this
; )
thanks for the warning about Greece, well go in the summer! and email you then.

Hi Little Sister ..
I am SO over Florida too, but I live here, sigh :D

I would recommend http://gogreece.about.com/library/bl...velplanner.htm

and www.gate1travel.com

Both are good for novice travelers to Greece~ Hope this helps~
