Does anyone have any information on how one can go across from Milazzo to see Stromboli at night? Thanks in advance.

There there nearly nightly round-trip boat cruises to Stromboli from Lipari. These are small, privately-operated boats, not the regular car ferry or hydrofoil.

I don't know whether there are similar night services out of Milazzo, but you can reach Lipari from Milazzo easily by hydrofoil in one hour, and there are 17 hydrofoils daily during the summer, 13 in winter.

The web site I quoted (www.minicrociere.com) is for Taranto Navigazione which runs excursions from Milazzo (confusingly it's run by the Taranto family and does not run from the city of Taranto).
