Street maps for Comillas, Potes, Santillana or Santoña please?

Does anyone know where I can get street maps for Comillas, Potes, Santillana or Santoña please?

Any ideas of restful places to pass time - including suitable places to get snacks etc - nothing too tiring for my 91 yr old father, please!

We are taking the same trip as last year - if I had known we would be going again then I would have tried harder to find maps when we were there. There was nothing in the tourist centre in Potes though and the plan we managed to get of Santillana was very confusing. We walked miles.

Any ideas of how to pass a few hours near the ferry terminus in Santander too please? Again we walked a long way but didn't find anything very interesting except the fish market - but it was nearly empty.

We are going up the teleférico at Fuente Dé this time instead of just watching. My father insists! I was quite happy filming from the bottom. Has anyone any tips for taking elderly people up?

Thanks for reading!

This message replaces my first effort which posted before I was ready.

Have you tried the old-fashioned method of emailing or calling local or national tourist board and asking for maps and brochures..?

You can get maps off the web by using ViaMichelin. Specify the town and you will get a map which can be enlarged or reduc ed in area according to the information you want. Google might also be able to produce such maps.

Didn't you go to Sardinero beach in Santander? Beautiful spot, even if you don't go into the water. I have gone to Santander for a few days at a time the last 3 summers. I loved going to Sardinero , sitting or laying on my towel and reading. And there are some cafés overlooking the water where you could have a bite to eat. Walking from the port area where the ferry is would be close to half hour but a cab or bus will take you there in less than 10 mins. Midway from the port and Sardinero is an Aquarium. I was told it is pretty good but never went.
