STREET MAPS
 

We are holidaying in th Algarve in June this year and was wondering where we can acquire any street maps of the main towns such as portimao, villamoura, etc. We stayed for a few days in September last year and even with our Sat Nav we found it difficult to find our way around some of the town centres and also where the car parks were. Would be grateful for any assistance.

You might want to repost this with the name of the country in the title. It helps, since there are no country forums, and people tend to scan titles...this might be missed.

I sometimes get some things from Stanford's in the UK. They specialize in travel, both maps and guides. They seem to cover the european countries pretty well.

They do have a website.

If you can wait until you get there tourist offices will sell them, or even give them to you in some cases.
