Stratford Theater Question

My daughter and I have tickets for RSC
Courtyard theater--Hamlet. The catch is it's for standing room only. Never done it before, much less at this theater--has anyone else? Any tips?
Thanks!

Hi Deziree
What do you want to know? I live in Stratford. I have never taken atanding tickets for the RSC but the Courtyard theatre us not huge so you will get good view of the stage if that's what you're worried about. 'Hamlet' has been given good reviews. have fun!

Wear comfy, supportive shoes. Hamlet is one of the longer plays - 3.5 to 4 hours!

Thanks, you two--I guess I was wondering if it really is STANDING the entire time!
(I suppose so)

"I guess I was wondering if it really is STANDING the entire time!" Well, you can sit during the intervals . . . . .

I haven't been up in the Gallery where the standing tickets are, but I'm pretty sure there is a railing in front that you can lean on. But no - you can't sit down during the performance.
