Store luggage in Rome for a few hours
Does anyone know of a way to store luggage in rome for a while ?
We are arriving at the airport and being picked up several hours later. |
Main train station but do you want in Rome or at the airport?
|
The left luggage at Termini (main train station) had a seemingly endless line the day I passed it on the way to the ladies, not even high season. If that's the one you want, though it may not always be so backed up, do have plenty of time to spare or an alternative plan, just in case.

Are there any alternatives?
|
There are always alternatives. Not necessarily alternative luggage storage but other ways to cope with the situation. Sensible people always have a back-up plan, even if it's just know a great cafe to people watch while you wait to be picked up.

It occurs to me that if we knew more we might have suggestions. For instance, if there's a hotel you'll use before or after this day, it's likely they'll hold it for you for a while.
Where will you be picked up? |

See this thread from a few mo ago on the same topic.

There are several private services, including the highly-rated Bon Bags. I can't vouch for any of them, because I've only used the service at the train station. I don't know when Mme.Perdu last passed by, but the train station left luggage has recently been privatised.
