Stopping in Wexford or Waterford worth it?

Hi!

I am planning on taking the train from Cork to Dublin and was wondering if a stop over in Wexford or Waterford was worth it? It would be extra stops but if a good place to visit then I might go. Has anyone been?

It's not a good idea. The routing is awkward, and the timing even worse.

Lvs, I agree with Padraig - proceed directly to Dublin. Waterford factory (if it is still in business) is like going to a US mall, if I recall.
