Stockholm / Oslo / fjords

Well this is sort of a cruise question but hoping to get some info here. We did a Baltic sail several years ago that included sailing into / out of Stockholm and it was one of the highlights of the trip. I don't want to do that itinerary again but am looking at a sail that leaves from Amsterdam, goes to Oslo and up into some of the fjords. Could I expect some of the scenery to be similar? Thanks!

I've done multiple Baltic/Scandinavia cruises and I think you'll be pleased with the scenery as the ships navigate the fjords. The cruise ships dock right in Oslo and it's a wonderful sail-in/sail-out since you pass lots of islands.

Oslo is in a fjord and is a wonderful city to visit. Norway and it’s fjords are beautiful.

By including Norway, scenery will be even more dramatic. You don't say where else you went other than Stockhom, but the scenery around there is more like the Maine coast--small rocky islands and outcroppings. The fjords are dramatic mountains rising up out of the water.

Take the ferry from Kiel to Oslo. Beautiful arrival in the morning in Oslo Fjord.

I've never been to Stockholm or Oslo, but I just did a cruise up the coast of Norway and found the scenery amazing ... breathtaking even. We went into Geirangerfjord, and that was a highlight.
