Still trying to get to Paris from Florence

Has anyone used Vueling air from Rome to Paris? I need to get from Florence on June 14 to Paris for a June 15 flight. Overnight Saturday train cuts it too close to 1:30 pm Sunday flight...considering a flight and staying near CDG. Any help or tips would be great! Or another route as this current plan will take most of Saturday for travel..

zwolla:

Why are you going all the way to Rome? Is there some problem with flying out of Pisa (Easyjet)? You can leave Pisa at 5pm and arrive at Paris Orly around 7pm. You'll be at your hotel by 8, plenty of time for dinner and a stroll. You even have time for walk and breakfast the next morning. (Or you could take the transfer bus from Orly to CDG if you want to stay there.)

You could also go to Kayak.com and search for flights Florence to Paris - Air France does that route, but it's usually more expensive.

Hi...a great resource I like to use for finding cheap flights in Europe is www.harefares.com. It lets you choose multiple origin and destination airports and then shows all the cheap airlines that fly those routes. So if you have a little bit of flexibility regarding where you fly in and out of, you should find a lot of options.

Thanks so much for this idea....didn't know Easyjet had a route from Pisa to Paris. Is Orly closer in to Paris than CDG?

Kammie, I will check out the site. Unfortunaely I don't have flexibility this time. Also, sorry if I am answering you on Jeanne's message. I am new to this but have absolutely loved getting such great information from you and others and also love reading the travel logs.

Yes, Orly is much closer than CDG. Cab to you hotel only takes 20 minutes or so.
