Still Trying to call SNCF

I called (from Florida)011-33-8-36-35-35-39. This is supposed to be the English line. A message in French came on. I waited for the English, as instructed by this board. Same message repeats over & over. I can tell by the cadence that it is saying something like our US phones "Please dial 1 for something, etc. " The last word sounds like "directory." I finally punched 0 and got a "your call did not go through". in English. So that didn't work. HELP!

Don't want this to fade from sight. Thanks.

Could you briefly tell us what you are trying to accomplish? You may not have to use the phone at all.

Boot... I am trying to make train reservations for Paris-Montpellier-Carcossonne then Montpellier to CDG for our June trip. I know what trains I want & when. I have tried to do it on the internet at SNCF but it gives me an error message after I get it set up. It was suggested that I call them & make reservations.

Hi, janeg. The new number for SNCF in English is 011-33-8-92-35-35-39. I just called them a few weeks ago.

Alas, despite the fact y'all told me the new number in previous posts, I still dialed the wrong one. The message probably says, "please dial our new number." I will try again tomorrow morning. Thanks!
