Still confused

Just when I thought I had worked these trains fares and passes out I am once again confused. At the end of August my husband and I will be travelling by train in Germany before going down to Croatia. Can any one help with some advice on the following. We are flying in and out of Frankfurt. It is a 24 hour flight so did not want to go far when we arrive but did not want to stay in Frankfurt
Frankfurt to Heidelberg (normal fare)
Heidelberg to Munich on Saturday - I thought you would be able to use a good weekend ticket for this but when I check the schedule I can not see a train that this ticket could be used on.
Munich to Ljubljana - as a previous post advised there are special fares advertised for this which I think we can purchase from home.
We are then going to Croatia for 4 weeks before returning to Munich for the Oktoberfest.
Then Munich to Wuerzburg - I thought you would be able to use a Bayern ticket for this but again can not see a train that this ticket could be used on.
Wuerzburg to Frankfurt on a Saturday - again I can not see a train that a good weekend ticket could be used on.
Any help or advice would be more than appreciated.

I don't know about your train tickets, but do have advice -- please don't keep making up new posts with this same question.

If you just want your post to go to the top (and you should wait more than every 7 minutes, maybe), you should "respond" or reply to your own post even if it's just a "dummy" response, as any time someone responds to a post, it immediately goes to the top of the queue.

The reason you are not finding trains for which you can use the Schöneswochenende or Bayern pass is that those passes are valid on regional trains, and you are not asking for regional trains.

On the DB website's query page, change Means of Transport from "standard search" to "only local transport. That way it won't show express trains.

The trip from Heidelberg to Munich takes longer on regional trains, but there can be some advantages. You change trains in Ulm. Take a few hours there and climb the stairs to the top of the world's tallest gothic cathedral spire.

"when I check the schedule I can not see a train that this ticket could be used on."

What schedule were you using. You should use Bahn.de (http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en)

Munich to Ljubljana - I don't know if this is the special fare referred to in the other post, but German Rail sells a €29 Europa-Spezial fare from Munich to Ljubljana. It is valid for the 11:30 EC out of Munich. If you do a search for Munich to Ljubljana, you should find it. It is for online purchase only and is train specific and non-refundable, but a great price. If you want Ljubljana to Munich, you can only buy it for that price as part of a round trip starting in Munich.
