Have been to the Hawksmoor a number of times. Great food and service (can be a bit noisy).

I am sure there is going to be somebody who says it stinks but I keep going back.

I made the almost fatal mistake of going to a chain restaurant, that I did not know was a chain, Angus Steakhouse. One of the more vile meals we have had.

The Hawksmoor is also a "chain" even if it IS a smaller chain. Who cares? Some chains are great IMO and others mediocre.

Hawksmoor 7 dials is amazing! been countless times and its always perfect. Great service (they really know about steak and help
you pick whats best for you!) the atmosphere can be loud but that because it always busy! which is a good sign! definitely book in advanced though!

Has anyone been to The Bountiful Cow (51 Eagle St.) near High Holborn? I noticed it while searching for things to do near our hotel. The menu is all steak and burgers and seems to have good reviews online.

I've been to relais de l'entrecote (Marbeuf location) in Paris and the steak frites are wonderful. I noticed there is a Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte in central London. It looks similar but I'm not sure if it's the same restaurant.

The Relais de Venise L'Entrecote in London (Marylebone Lane) always has a line of people waiting - I haven't been there, but it always seems to be busy. It's not a steakhouse like Hawksmoor, with a variety of steaks to choose from. You get an entrecote with frites, that's it.

The OP has asked several questions about steakhouses in London, and was supposedly traveling last year.
