StCirq - Leasing a car in Ireland?

StCirq - This is in response to your post to me.

I don't know anything about leasing. Would I check with the same companies? What about the CDW? Thanks for your help.

MrsMolly:

Yes, I would begin by checking with the same companies. I've done lots of leases in France and Italy, but never in Ireland, so I'm not an expert on the Irish end of it. In addition to AutoEurope, there may be Ireland-specific companies that lease. Leases historically have saved me money when renting for 17 days or longer - plus you get a brand new car, which is fun!
I hope others who have leased in Ireland will weigh in for more specific help.

StCirq - Thanks for your response. Would you know if I can decline the CDW when leasing? Thanks.

MrsMolly:

Here's a link to AutoEurope's lease-buyback program. It should answer this question and more:

http://www.autoeurope.com/buyback_home.cfm

I would suggest you post again without using my screen name. Although I've got a fair bit of experience in leasing cars, I've never even set foot in Ireland, and arrangements and fees can vary greatly from country to country. There are other people on this board who I'm sure have specific information for you but who might not post here because it appears you are carrying on a personal dialogue with me.
Good luck!

Thanks again. I checked the website and it seems that they are partnered with Peugeot and they do not have locations in Ireland. I will post again without your name. Thanks again!
