Staying in Levanto at Hotel Al Terra di Mare

I'm having second thoughts about staying at this hotel...Although Hotel Al Terra Di Mare seems beautiful, it is located out of town and I'm wondering if it will be a huge hastle to get to and from town to the hotel, particularly if we have to do so twice a day?

Has anyone stayed there?

Have you looked at Villa Margherita in town?

Thanks, Bob.
Yes, in fact I've tried reserving with them but have not heard back. I just tried sending them an email by using their internet address preceeded by [email protected] because I can't fine their email address on their web site.
I did go back to trip advisor, however, and found out that the owners of Al Terra di Mare provide a shuttle into town, so it might not be a problem.
Bob, may I ask you, however, your opinion of Levanto? (I seem to have read a lot of your postings but do not recall reading anything about Levanto. I think your pick was Lerici. I thought Levanto might work better for us since it's closer to Alba where we'll be coming from.
Thanks for your input!

I like Levanto--more of a beach resort town and very convenient. The owner is famous for being late on replies---I think he has a classified ad on slowtrav.com---try that. Also look at reviews there for another hotel in town.

Thank you, Bob.
I did read somewhere else that they replied late. I'll check out the ad on slowtrav.
Thanks again!
