Staying at the Hotel Casci - should we request a specific room?
Hi everyone.
thanks to the great suggestions and information we've gotten from many of you, we've decided to book a room at the Hotel Casci in Florence. I've noticed when reading through the forum that often people recommend specific rooms at a hotel - Is there a specific room we should request at the Casci?
thanks!

We also stayed at the Casci, and we had a room facing the street. They have double glass and a wooden shutter, but if you are a light sleeper it would still be noisy since the street is very central and busy. I used ear plugs and slept fine but without ear plugs I would have had problems. BTW it's a great hotel.

We were at the Casci two weeks ago, and loved it. The owners (Paolo especially) couldn't be nicer! Our room overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet, so I definitely concur with requesting a room there (I think there are only two rooms on the street anyway, so the odds are in your favor.)
