Has anyone stayed at either of the following:<BR><BR>Hostellerie du Vallon de Valrugues<BR>Ch&acirc;teau des Alpilles<BR><BR>What was your experience with them. Thanks.<BR>

Valruges is wonderful, a helpful staff, beautiful terrace. Be careful staying out late. It was hard to find our way back.

the chateau is an 18 century residence, sort of Shappy chic. The Hostellerie is more modern with a hollywod style pool.<BR>And rooms have balconies. Two vewry different looking sites.

Thanks! I think we're leaning toward Valrugues. Are both of them easy walking distance to the city?

steve, they are not an easy walk more of an easy drive.

<BR>Steve:<BR>Ch&acirc;teau des Alpilles is about 1 mile from the center. <BR>Valrugues is a lot closer, and not worth driving. Slightly downhill towards town, uphill coming back (good for the digestion :-)<BR><BR>Mimi: I guess you were mixing up with another hotel? Maybe Valmouriane?
