Stansted to Kensington Gardens

We are flying into Stansted, then need to get to our hotel at Kensington Gardens Square. Can anyone help with transportation from the airport to Kensington Gardens? Thank you!

Check out http://www.stanstedexpress.com for trains to Liverpool Street Station. From there, you can take the Circle Line Tube (Underground) to South Kensington.

Agree that stansed express is quick, cheap and runs regularly. If you are more than two people, however, I would hire a car. Not necessarily faster, but you avoid all those stops as you are entering the metro area. (They may have a true express bus by now; haven't used it in 2 years.)

Since you state that your hotel is on Kensington Gardens Square, the nearest tube stop is Bayswater, from which it is about a 300 metre walk. You would still take the Circle Line as an earlier poster suggested, but probably in the counter clockwise direction.

Hiring a car to take you from Stansted is not a very good idea - costwise, timewise, sanitywise - if you don't fancy the Stansted Express (and given the cost I don't blame you) the cheapest way is Terravision coach to Victoria & Tube to Bayswater

On your other thread you just said Kensington Gardens - the "Square" bit makes all the difference in the world. Whatever you do DO NOT hire a car/driver - it willl cost your first born child and take FOREVER.

Oh - should have made that last post 2 different paragraphs --

Not hiring a car would be the recommendation no matter which side of the park you were staying
