Standing Ticket in Hungarian State Opera
 

I know the seating is cheap there.... But I would like to watch the Nutcracker next week and the tickets are all sold out...
Are there any standing tickets? How many types are they and where will I be standing? And how can I buy them? Thanks! :)

I looked on jegymester and it doesn't show SRO tickets maybe you can stop by the opera house or email them there is a contact on the opera.hu website. THe performances are on Wednesday, Thursday pm at 6 and Sat and SUn at 11...maybe one of those would work for you.

Are you staying in a hotel? Any decent concierge should be able to get you tickets - for a premium.

Yah I sent email to opera.hu but it seems that they have ignored my email... :(

And I am not staying in hotel neither...:(

choco...I will send an email in Hungarian maybe that will help....I will send it tonite and maybe I will have a reply tomw...but if you can pull it off, Wednesday and Thursday nights both have tickets...The churches all around town have BEAUTIFUL concerts during December so maybe you can do that instead on Saturday. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If I get a response I will post here tomw.
