St Remy where to stay

Can anyone recommend a hotel or B&B in the town of St Remy. I see many choices just outside, but I'd like to stay someplace in the old town.

Thank you, INOR

The two that are smack in the middle of things are the pricy L'hotel Les Ateliers De L'Image and the other The Auberge de la Reine Jeanne.

P. S. inor, if you don't like animals, the auberge is not for you. They are allowed in rooms and in the dining room, but I only saw the house cats. One slept on my lap as I dined.

Cigalechanta, as I sit here with my 2 grey cats, I get the feeling you have a special rapport with animals!

We stay at L'Amandiere a 2 star hotel with a nice garden and swimming pool. It is about a 10 minute walk in to town that is most pleasant. No a/c.

Sous Les Figues is right in town and very pleasant. It has a small pool; I do not recall if it has a/c.

Both of these hotels are modest in cost with courteous and knowledgeable hosts.

If you want a more upscale venue try Chateau des Alpilles; a short walk in to town.

Bon Chance!

Anthony

thank you everyone. I'll look into your recommendations. We are ok with spending up to $200/night after taxes. But I am alergic to Cats.

Inor, that's why I always mention it knowing that some are allergic.

inor, I read today, of this very attractive house in St Remy. The pictures make it look attractive.
