St. Michel transfer in Paris
Is it really difficult to transfer from RER-B to RER-C at the St.Michel station in Paris? I have 2 bags and a small carry-on and do not want to have to negotiate too many stairs if possible. Are there no escalators or elevators ?

It would be pretty rigorous with that load, but not impossible.
But there might be a better way. Where do you want to go? |
I am interested in the answer to this question also.

RER B is DEEP underground. RER C is right under the street. If I remember correctly its two escalators up and you will be at the C platform on one side, however if you need to go in the other direction it will be more walking to go up and over the rails to the other side. I cant remember which side is which though.

Also, you can't really depend on the escalator working. It was out of order the last time I was in the St. Michel station.
