St Cirq,Cigalechanta or Underwood
 

I want to rent a car for three days at Avignon. I will be coming by bus from St Remy to pick it up. Which location would be the least hassle for getting to and driving back to St Remy; the TGV station or the downtown train station?

Gee, Larry, I only ride a bike and we have only taken the TGV once to Avignon to pick up the car. We love driving down from Paris where we usually pick up the car and head out in the direction we are going, and if bored with one road take the more scenic, and if in a hurry , the auto route. We are not planers to an extent, nor diary persons and book several places we desire to stay but mostly on the road and let it take us as a surprise.Life has too many adventures to plan to be closed for options

The Avignon TGV station is pretty much of a breeze from which to pick up a car. It's outside the city, so it's really, really easy to get on the road to St-Rémy. I've never done it from the downtown location, but given where it is, I have to believe it's easier from the TGV station.
