St. Anton, Austria - Any Hotel/Pension Recommendations?
Hello!

I'm looking for a reasonably priced hotel or guest house close to the center of town & the lifts. Please let me know if you have a place to recommend. Thanks!

Just thought I'd ask again. Anyone?

I stayed at the Hotel Mossmer a few years ago and it was great....small, family owned, but within a few blocks of the lifts and in the middle of st. anton. the number is 011-05446-2727. let me know if daisy, the little dog who begged at breakfast every morning, is still around.

flo conner
www.floconner.com
Hi Vicky:

I drove thru St. Anton this past spring with the intention of finding a place to take the ski-crew this winter. I did not stay too long. My impressions is that most of the Hotels are up a hill along the train tracks. I guess I was expecting a more quaint setting, I was a bit dissapointed with the "look" but Hey....It is the mecca of skiing!! I, for what's it worth, would look at Lech, just up the road!
JOHN

I've skiied St. Anton twice and loved it. There are many charming hotels and chalets in the main part of town. Check out alpineadventures.net for some great deals. Ask for Rick and tell him Mark from Atlanta recommended you. They've planned several of my group trips and are very knowledgeable. The skiing is terrific with the best apres ski in all of Europe.

A note on that phone number: that should be 011-43-5446....
43 is Austria's country code.
Cheers.
