We had a wonderful meal at Kastro last May. We reserved a table, a good idea as the restaurant was full, and if you are two they will sit you side-by-side facing the sunset.
Most people seemed to be in a rush as there was a mass exodus as soon as the sun set, but they had no problem with us going slowly and ordering one thing at a time. (Those that scrambled to leave missed the best part, the sliver of a moon rising above where the sun had set. Really, it was more beautiful than the sunset).
The meal itself was excellent. Someone else on this form has described the wonderful olives stuffed with cheese and then deep fried in beer dough. I concur--they were delightful and tasty, as were the grilled veggies we had before plates of mini raviolis and tagliatelle with strips of beef. We ordered vinsanto unaware that they would bring more small glasses with the bill. An all-around wonderful food/atmosphere evening.
