Split to Zagreb
 

I'm making the way from Split to Zagreb by car but would like to spend the night somewhere inbetween. Does have a recommendation of a nice town or area that isn't too far off the path?

Do yourself a huge favor and stop at Plitvice National Park. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. You won't regret it.

Sadly, I have not been to Turkey. It's on my list, however.

Hard to pick a favorite place in Croatia. It's all so beautiful, clean, and filled with friendly people. But I must say the Plitvice Nat'l Park and Dub

Oh, I got so excited just thinking about Croatia, I hit send on accident :)

Anyway.....My favorite places were Plitvice Nat'l Park, Dubrovnik and Hvar.

We have only been to Croatia once, but look forward to going back!
