Spetses
 
We are planning a trip to Greece and need to go to Spetses. Is it possible to reach this island by land without taking a boat or ferry? <BR> <BR>

I am curious why you need to go there. We spent part of our honeymoon there almost 28 years ago. We had cousins running a summer camp in a boys school and we went to visit them. We took a ferry from Piraeus and then took a hovercraft back. It was very beautiful.

You may want to read " The Magus " by John Fowles. <BR> <BR>The setting of the story is actually Spetses. From his descriptions, it really sounded wonderful! Great story too!
