See a similar question as yours posted on 6/1, "London in a day". There were 17 responses and I printed it out as it is full of information. Have fun!

We are stuck in London for 7 hours this summer and wish to take a quicky tour of the city before heading out to Sweden. Is there a taxi tour which might be convenient and majorly informational? It has been years since I was in the city and my companions and I would like to catch the highlights. We arrive 7:00 am and are a party of 4 adults and one pre teen.
I hope I'm sending this to the right people.......it's my first attempt with Fodors on line. The books I'm familiar with!

A cheap, clean place to stay as mentioned in Fodor's Miniguide is La Gaffe (Hampsted). Under 70 pounds. Another is Eden Plaza Hotel, Kensington. Just go back to home page and click on Europe Mini guide and click on hotel under 70 pounds and it will print up a custom one for you! I tried the Commodore, also for under 70 lbs but they do not have 22 amazing rooms, only 2 and they do not take reservations for those 2 but they will for the others. Good luck
